Understanding the complexity of consumer behaviour and implications for the sustainable consumption discourse

Addressing climate change and the collapse of ecosystems without threatening the economy, while simultaneously improving the well-being of all people, and ensuring social justice and equality seems to be the largest challenge in the history of mankind. So far, all the efforts to address growing environmental and human problems through technological solutions and half-hearted policy measures have b

The virtue of extraction and decolonial recollection in Gállok, Sápmi

Swedish mining is often envisioned as virtuous, as coinciding harmoniously with quests for sustainability and the cultural survival of indigenous Sami peoples. This chapter posits that Sweden’s sense of exceptionalism in mining is embedded in a colonial/extractive system of knowledge that fails to mention non-capitalist, anticolonial relationalities to nature and ways of life. The normalised statu

The technological development has provided the art scene with many new opportunities of including the spectator as an active part of an artwork. Moreover, one could argue that some artworks have grown to rely on the spectators participation to function to its full extent. This function includes both a physical function as well as an ability to create emotions and a relatable- meaning within the sp

Föranlett av ett stort missnöje och hätsk debatt i media trädde 2005 den nya sexualbrottslagstiftningPrior to 2005, offending persons involved in sexual exploitation of a person who found themselves in a vulnerable situation, were sentenced pursuant to Chapter 6 § 3 The Criminal Code. Jugoslaviens undergång : Krigen, freden, framtiden. 1991-2017

I Sveriges strafflag från 1864 (SL) avsåg förtalsbestämmelsen att värna om den enskildes goda namn och medborgerlThe subject of this essay is net hate, which can implicate felonies such as insult, defamation and harassment. Even though the Swedish rules specific to defamatory acts are recognized, they are far from comprehensive. Defamation, an offence that violates someone’s honor, is an old crime in the Swedish history of law. In the Criminal Law (SL) from 1864 the rule of defamation was intended to protect

Ruins of Resilience : Imaginaries and Materiality Imagineered and Embedded in Civil Defence Architecture

This chapter examines ruin towns: civil defence training grounds that replicated urban war zones. The ruins provided a stage for enacting nuclear war, where the merely imagined was given a tangible expression. The chapter sketches the transnational extension-by-invitation of a British model of ruins to Denmark, and through architectural and historical analysis, it asks how it was re-embedded into
