LUCK – The Lund Centre for the History of Knowledge
LUCK is a forum for activities related to the history of knowledge. It primarily consists of the history of knowledge seminar, research projects with different orientations, the history of knowledge visiting fellowship programme, the history of knowledge summer school, various networks and a digital platform (newhistoryofknowledge.com). LUCK was established in 2020 and has recently begun its third three-year period of operation, with Johan Östling as director and Isak Hammar and Kajsa Weber as deputy directors. In the coming years, we will continue our internationalisation efforts and forge closer ties with other history of knowledge environments around the world. We will maintain our general interest in knowledge history as a field, but will specifically focus on four areas: the history of the humanities, knowledge and education, early modern knowledge cultures, and postwar knowledge societies.
