HEIRS (Household Economy and Inheritance Research Studies)
HEIRS is a research node bringing together scholars working on the history of households, wealth, and inheritance. The scope is broad and includes, for example, research on families, social structure, credit, consumption, and historical inequality, from economic, social, cultural, and political perspectives. Building on ongoing and future projects at Lund, HEIRS connects researchers through international seminars and networking activities, while also introducing students to these themes through courses, internships, and research assistant positions. In the coming years, the node aims to strengthen international networks and develop and support new research initiatives.
