Season's greetings!

Season's greetings! Season's greetings! Publicerad den 19 december 2024 The holidays are just around the corner! Soon, we will hit the couch for some well-deserved rest and lots of goodies. But first: Thanks to all our users during the year whose projects and exciting research make the Lab a fun place to be.  Thanks to Lunds universitet for making us a Corefacility as of next year!  We wish everyo

Appreciation From a Management Perspective : Exploring the Complexity of Managers Communication Responsibility Through a Diary Study

Perceiving appreciation at work has positive individual and organizational outcomes. Managers in particular are attributed with responsibility to communicate appreciation to employees and to support cultivating an appreciative working environment. This study aims to provide an in-depth analysis of managers’ communication responsibility based on qualitative diaries conducted in five European countr

A preliminary study on the role of personal history of infectious and parasitic diseases on self-reported health across countries

Objectives: Infectious diseases are often associated with decline in quality of life. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between personal history of communicable, i.e., infectious and parasitic diseases and self-rated health. Study design: Secondary analysis of a large dataset multi-country observational study. Methods: We used a four-pronged analysis approach to investigate whet

Measurement of charged hadron multiplicity in Au+Au collisions at sNN= 200 GeV with the sPHENIX detector

The pseudorapidity distribution of charged hadrons produced in Au+Au collisions at a center-of-mass energy of sNN = 200 GeV is measured using data collected by the sPHENIX detector. Charged hadron yields are extracted by counting cluster pairs in the inner and outer layers of the Intermediate Silicon Tracker, with corrections applied for detector acceptance, reconstruction efficiency, combinatoria

Observation of double parton scattering in same-sign W boson pair production in pp collisions at √s = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

This letter reports the measurement of double parton scattering in same-sign W boson pair production with the ATLAS detector. The data set used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 140 fb−1 of proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected during Run 2 of the Large Hadron Collider. The study is performed in final states including two same-charge leptons, electron or
