This master thesis degree project is done in cooperation with the global medical company Ambu A/S. One of the main product groups of Ambu A/S is single use endoscopes. This project will focus on the packaging of said endoscopes and is situated at the Ambu A/S headquarter office in Ballerup, Denmark. For single use endoscopes the packaging plays an important role compared to reusable endoscopes.

This paper evaluates the efficiency of the distribution of pensionable income between the Swedish National Pension Funds – AP1, AP2, AP3, and AP4 – and their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) investment preferences. Through portfolio optimization over 21 years (2003-2023), the results reveal nearly perfect correlations between the Funds, indicating limited benefits from diversification.
