Freud som gruppsykolog: En orättvis betraktelse till 150-årsdagen

Freud´s 1921/1922 essay "Group psychology and the analysis of the Ego" is reviewed in light of Freud´s influence by LeBon, McDougall and Trotter. The cultural climat in post-war Europe and it´s pessimism is also demonstrated as a contributing factor to Freud´s view on groups and massses. Th influence of the essay on subsequent group resaerch is demonstrated and discussed.

Energy Use in Multi-Family Dwellings during their Life Cycle

The aim of this study is to analyse the total use of energy in four multi-family houses during their life cycles, and to compare the use of energy during the different periods in the life cycle. The aim is also to investigate how energy use during the life cycle changes with different construction parts, e g if the thermal insulation thickness or the framework is changed. Results show that the en

Element cycling in forest soils -modelling the effects of a changing environment

Element cycling and nutrient supply in forest ecosystems are of vital importance for short-term productivity and for longer-term land management in terms of nutrient leaching and CO2 fixation. This thesis includes a series of studies with the objective of modelling some aspects of the effect of acidification and climate change on element cycling and nutrient supply in forest soil. A reconstructio

Protein Kinase Inhibition in Late Cerebral Ischemia after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage

The cerebral ischemia that occur after a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) often results in death or severe disability and is a significant cause of stroke. Our hypothesis is that cerebral ischemia leads to pathophysiological receptor changes on the vascular smooth muscle cells. The changes may lead to a stronger vasoconstriction than normal in response to endogenous ligands. We are focusing on the en

Selective catalytic reduction of NOx: a mathematical model for poison accumulation and conversion performance

A common control technique for limiting nitrogen oxide emissions is selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO, with NH,. The lifetime of the catalyst, which has a critical role in overall SCR system economics, is, however, limited due to deactivation by poisoning. A two-dimensional model was developed to describe poison accumulation and activity of an SCR catalyst. The model that has no adjustable

Research and development of radiation therapy in clinical routines

In an investigation conducted by the Swedish Cancer Society. the present status, critical issues and future aspects and potentials were described by expert group for each of nine major areas of radiation therapy research. In this report, research and development in radiation therapy clinical routines is described. The terms research, development, quality assurance, quality control and clinical rou

This paper treets the acquisition, variation and historical change in the use of the article with kinship names in Italian, or more precisely, the Florentine variety of Italian. The development in acquisition data and historical texts is compared regarding the use of the definitive article together with kinship nouns. The children studied in this paper classify DPs in non-target-like ways apparent

Causal Facts

It is argued that causation exists and is as local as its causes and effects. As a consequence, the position advocated is contrary to the as yet prevailing view that no 'causal tie' between cause and effect exists. Moreover, it is suggested that this tie can be perceived. The essay attempts to elucidate the nature of causes, effects, and causal mechani

MCHF calculations of autoionization widths in two- and three-electron systems

We present calculations of autoionization widths using a fully numerical multiconfigurational Hartree-Fock method (MCHF). Energy positions and autoionization rates are given for several doubly-excited states lying below the n = 2 threshold in He I and H-. Particular attention is given to orthogonality considerations in the computation of the autoionization widths. The method is extended to the 1s2

Surface Proteins of Streptococcus agalactiae and Related Proteins in Other Bacterial Pathogens.

Streptococcus agalactiae (group B Streptococcus) is the major cause of invasive bacterial disease, including meningitis, in the neonatal period. Although prophylactic measures have contributed to a substantial reduction in the number of infections, development of a vaccine remains an important goal. While much work in this field has focused on the S. agalactiae polysaccharide capsule, which is an
