Gel electrolytes based on comb-shaped polyethers have been prepared and characterised. The comb-shaped polyethers consisted of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) or poly(ethylene oxide-co-propylene oxide) (PEOPO) side chains tethered to styrenic backbone polymers.
