Thematic courses Autumn 2026

The Department of History offers four courses at advanced level in English of 7.5 credits each. These are part of our Master's programme in Historical Studies during the autumn semester, but are also given as freestanding courses.

• Media and History: Media-historical Perspectives on Politics, Science and Culture (7.5 ECTS credits)
• History of Knowledge (7.5 ECTS credits)
• History of the Holocaust: Representations, Memory Studies and History Cultures (7.5 ECTS credits)
• Global History: Thinking beyond Borders (7.5 ECTS credits)

Eligibility: Knowledge in English corresponding to the language requirements to meet the general entry requirements for bachelors level studies and a bachelor course in history or the history of ideas and science, or another subject with a historical focus or equivalent knowledge.
