Ph.D in Human Rights.
Dissertation title: "Framing the Subject: Human Rights and Photography in Contemporary Thai History".
In the dissertation I investigate how engagements with photography of particularly violent events in Thailand produces history and memory that addresses state violence and impunity. My research interests are resistance and violence, photography and image practices among social movements, photography as sites of historical memory, nationalism, human rights activism, Thailand and Southeast Asia.
Teaching at the BA and MA program in human rights studies and supervise student essays. I also work as a unit administrator at the Center for East and Southeast Asian studies, Lund University. I have previously worked as student counselor and course administrator at Lund University.
