I hold a Ph.D. in history and work as a researcher and university instructor. I defended my dissertation in the fall of 2025 at Lund University with the thesis Educating Entrepreneurs: Junior Achievement and the Transformation of the Swedish Schools 1980–2011, which examined how entrepreneurship became a knowledge area in Swedish schools and the development of views on children, youth, and entrepreneurship in Sweden since 1980. The project took a history of knowledge perspective, focusing on Junior Achievement Sweden as a knowledge actor. Before being admitted as a doctoral student, I studied history and English literature, primarily at Lund University. My research has mainly concerned the history of childhood and the development of views on children and childhood since the 19th century. My research interests include the history of childhood and youth, popular culture, the history of knowledge, the history of education, historical culture, and Sami history.
