I am interested in women's engagement with the legal sphere in medieval and early modern society, particularly in Scotland, as well as how legal practitioners functioned in society before the establishment of the lawyer occupation. I am also interested in public outreach and have published short stories in English inspired by my research.

I have a PhD in history from the University of Aberdeen (2025), and did my undergraduate degree at the same university (2019). I also hold a master's degree in women's, gender and sexuality studies from the University of Oxford (2020).
