I work in three global and medical history projects at the Department of History.
Moved Apart deals with global emotional history in the early modern period.
Global Diplomacy Network deals with global diplomacy.
Secrets to Patents deals with patent history and how medical knowledge spread around the world.
My own research background is interdisciplinary and rooted in literary studies and cultural analysis in addition to history. My main research interests deal with popular culture and media history, and I have worked a bit with games and comic books as research areas.
I was also the department's research communicator in 2025-2026.
