Student account/LU-account – your electronic student account in Lund
The Student Portal is your own page where you can check your registrations and results, print verifiable Ladok-certificates, change your address, get software, etc.
You need your student account to add your thesis in LUP Student Papers and to log in to Canvas courses.
You log in to the portal using your student account (previously, STil – Student in Lund)
How do I make a student account?
A student account is created for you when you are accepted to Lund University. When the account is created, an email on how your student account is activated is sent to the email address that you registered when you did your application to Lund University. As a student at Lund University you can activate your LU account via Universityadmissions.se after you have received your second admission decision.
If you have studied at another department in Lund, you can keep your same student account. If it does not work, or if you have forgotten your password, contact the support.

Note that it is very important that you check your student email account. It is to this account that all important information from the university is sent, for example information from the department, teachers, etc. One tip is to forward your student email account to the email address you use the most, or you can change your email address at the Student Portal. Remember that is crucial that the address you provide is to an email account you check regularly.
