Sune Bechmann Pedersen

er Ph.d.-studerende ved afdeling for Historie i Lund. Han har en Mastergrad i Historie fra University College London, School of Slavonic and East European Studies. Sune har tidligere studeret ved universiteter i Tjekkiet og Danmark. Han specialiserer sig i nyere central- og østeuropæisk filmkultur, men arbejder også i bredere forstand med historie og erindring i Europa efter første verdenskrig. I april 2010 påbegyndte han et fire-årigt forskningsprojekt om tysk og tjekkisk film efter 1989. Projektet er en del af det større internationale forskningsprojekt "Baltic Borderlands: Shifting Boundaries of Mind and Culture in the Borderlands of the Baltic Sea Region", som foretages i samarbejde mellem universiteterne i Lund, Greifswald og Tartu.
